CARVER LOW PRESSURE PNEUMATIC PRESS

Carver lab Presses will feature the E-Series and Monarch hydraulic presses at Pittcon 2007 show.

The Low Pressure Pneumatic Press from Carver, Inc. features a fully-threaded dual column design suited for many heated or non-heated applications including medical moldings, low pressure laminating and specialized R&D environments. These presses feature a clamping force range from 100 to 400 lbs. with other pressure ranges available. Also features a daylight opening of 0” to 4” and platen sizes range from 6” x 6”, 9” x 9” and 12” x 12” models. The Low Pressure Pneumatic Presses operate on compressed air, 90 PSI is the maximum.

NEW CARVER AUTO-FOUR PRESS FOR ASTM TEST SAMPLE MOLDING

Carver lab Presses will feature the E-Series and Monarch hydraulic presses at Pittcon 2007 show.Carver, Inc. meets the more demanding requirements for molding test plaques in Class 5 polyethylene materials with two new “Auto-Four” bench top hydraulic compression presses, 15 or 30 tons clamp force. ASTM D4703 (formerly D1928) Procedure C demands accurate and controlled cooling from 180°C to 45°C. The “Auto-Four” presses have electrically heated 12” x 12” platens which are designed for automatic cooling with closed loop water or air cooled chiller systems.

These Carver “Auto-Four” presses are four post design with cast iron bolsters for maximum rigidity. Integral hydraulic power unit is completely self-contained and electrically operated. Fully programmable controls direct press functions and provide for recipe storage. Clamp area is fully guarded with interlocked operator gate.

Optional equipment for the “Auto-Four” includes chart recorders for data acquisition, chase frame molds for sample test plaque molding, and chillers for controlled cooling water. Multiple daylights are also available. The new presses maintain capabilities for Class 1 through Class 4 materials.

AUTOMATIC PELLET PRESSES FROM CARVER

Carver lab Presses will feature the E-Series and Monarch hydraulic presses at Pittcon 2007 show.AutoPellet Presses from Carver, Inc. are specially designed for preparation of pellets, primarily KBr specimens for infrared spectroscopy and X-ray. They are also used for briquette forming, compression strength testing and fluid extraction.

AutoPellet Presses are available in 25 ton and 40 ton clamp force models with rigid slab side construction for precise alignment. They are completely self-contained with integral safety shield and electrically powered hydraulic system. Microprocessor control system with digital display of force permits programmed operation. The 5” diameter platen is counter-bored for positive die alignment. The 25 ton model includes 13mm KBr pellet die, while the 40 ton model includes 31mm die for x-ray sample preparation.

A redesigned Carver Manual Pellet Press for an economic alternative to automatic presses is also available.

COMPRESSION PRESS FROM CARVER, INC.

Carver E-Series Compression PressThe E-Series all electric compression press for round-the-clock performance in a lab or on the production floor, is clean, quiet to operate and offers greater precision and reliability over hydraulic presses.
Especially suited to clean room and laboratory applications, they are ideal for compression molding rubber/elastomers, gum silicones and other testing procedures. Clamp force ranges from 1,000 lbs to 30 tons. Standard temperature range is to 650°F. Platen sizes range from   12" x 12" to 24" x 24".
