CARVER, INC. EXHIBITING AT PITTCON 2012
Carver, Inc. will be exhibiting at Pittcon Conference & Expo 2012 in Booth No. 2011 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL from March 11 – 15. Carver is celebrating its 100th year as a leading manufacturer and supplier of standard and custom hydraulic presses for laboratory applications such as pharmaceuticals, analytical chemistry, lab testing, liquid extraction, cell disruption, laminating, specimen preparation and other applications.
Carver offers two-column and four column benchtop, manual and automatic hydraulic presses with clamping capacities from 12 to 30 tons. The “Auto” Series line features a “NE” touch screen programmable control with maximum flexibility for the most challenging applications. An all-electric E-Series press is also available with a clamp force of 30 tons.
A wide variety of laboratory accessories, including force verification kits, heating and cooling platen options, repair kits, gauges and thermometers, safety shields, floor stands and power units are also available.

CARVER, INC. CELEBRATES 100TH ANNIVERSARY IN 2012
Carver, Inc. is celebrating 100 years of providing the world’s most popular lab presses with more choices, more features and more performance.
Carver offers standard hydraulic laboratory presses in two-column and four-column, benchtop and floor standing, and manual and automatic models with clamping capacities from 12 to 100 tons. A series of all electric compression presses is available and designed for around-the-clock performance in a lab, clean room or on the production floor. Carver also designs and manufactures custom presses for specific applications, including ASTM test plaque or bar molding, pellet making, laminating and rubber molding lab presses.
A wide variety of accessories are also available, such as force verification kits, heating and cooling platen options, hydraulic units and repair kits, testing/processing/dies accessories, gauges and thermometers, safety shields and floor stands.

Wabash MPI and Carver, Inc. will be exhibiting at the MD&M West Conference and Expo in Booth No.1688 from February 13-16, 2012 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA.
Wabash MPI offers standard and custom compression molding, transfer molding, vacuum molding, ASTM, composite molding, laboratory and R&D presses, as well as a series of all electric, hydraulic and pneumatic compression presses. NEW AUTO SERIES AUTOFOUR PRESS
Carver, Inc. introduces a new 48 ton model to its popular “Auto Series” press line. The new AutoFour/48 line is offered in 3 platen sizes, 15" X 15", 18" X 18" (for general purpose applications), and 19" X 19" (for ASTM D3182 rubber test slab preparation). It is available with heated and/or cooled platen packages. The AutoFour/48 has a 650°F maximum operating temperature, 0"-15" adjustable daylight and 4" stroke. Other features include self-contained hydraulic system, programmable control system with full touch screen interface and two hand “anti-tie-down” close buttons for operator safety.

CARVER RECEIVES ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATION
Carver, Inc. has recently received ISO 9001:2008 certification from EAGLE Registrations Inc. for its design, manufacture and service of hydraulic, pneumatic and electric presses and their accessories.

Wabash MPI and Carver, Inc. announce the appointment of Dave Singer as Marketing Manager for both companies. Singer has served in many roles within the two companies from 1983 to April of 2009.

DIGITAL GAUGE KIT AVAILABLE FROM CARVER
Carver, Inc. introduces a new digital gauge kit with an easy-to-read LCD gauge face for all hand operated Carver press models. The new gauge is battery powered and readings are generated in 100 lb. increments. The gauge will be configured to the press model, which customers must specify when ordering. Installation instructions and all required fittings are included in the kit. Optional increment settings of 1 lb. or 10 lbs. are available instead of 100 lbs. increments. User selectable readout in lbs. force, tons, metric tons, kilonewtons, or kilograms.

CARVER AUTO SERIES PRESSES

Carver, Inc. offers the new Auto Series automatic hydraulic laboratory presses, featuring the enhanced “NE” digital control system. Offering 15 to 30 tons of clamping force and 6" x 6" to 15” x 15” platens, these benchtop presses are used in quality control and research and development for test sample preparations, destructive testing, molding, laminating and fluid extraction.
The new “NE” controls feature full touch screen interface, proximity switch for adjustable slowdown position and all heat controlled through PLC and interface. The “NE” controls can easily switch between degrees Fahrenheit and degrees Celsius and between pounds, kilograms, tons and metric tons. Auto reheat at the end of a cycle and automatic bump sequence can be programmed.

CARVER LOW PRESSURE PNEUMATIC PRESS

The Low Pressure Pneumatic Press from Carver, Inc. features a fully-threaded dual column design suited for many heated or non-heated applications including medical moldings, low pressure laminating and specialized R&D environments. These presses feature a clamping force range from 100 to 400 lbs. with other pressure ranges available. Also features a daylight opening of 0” to 4” and platen sizes range from 6” x 6”, 9” x 9” and 12” x 12” models. The Low Pressure Pneumatic Presses operate on compressed air, 90 PSI is the maximum.
