Carver, Inc. introduces a new 40 ton proppant Crush Test press model for use with high psi frac sand, resin coated sand and ceramic proppant. This press is a compliment to the existing 28 ton model. The Monarch Model CMG40-12-PCR meets critical demands of ISO 13503-2:2006 with excellent cycle repeatability. This Monarch press provides compression force ranging from 2 to 40 tons within a ±2.5% deviation. A proportional hydraulic system is able to apply a constant rate of 13.8 MPa/min.

The operator interface allows for easy setup of press control parameters and includes plenty of recipe storage. The "Mini" ViewPoint control system also includes Allen Bradley programmable controller, PanelView Touch screen interface and closed-loop control of clamp pressure. Other features include 12" x 12" full guided hardened platens to ensure parallelism and an adjustable stop on plates for centering the crush die. This proppant crush test press is also available with and without 2" ID crush die.
